Join us on Monday, August 19th as we celebrate one of the most important keystone species in the Florida waters, OYSTERS! There have been many developments in our local aquacultures that have resulted in some of the most delicious bivalves around, and we think that is reason to celebrate. Chefs Elek Kovacs, Huy Tin and Wendy Lopez will be teaming up with local oyster farmer and supplier, Colin Slemkewicz, of Sublime Oysters in Panacea to prepare dishes featuring the Florida oyster. Come sample an array of preparation styles in a cocktail party setting, mingle with your fellow oyster lover and learn about what is going on in our waters that is so important for our community and ecosystem. Proceeds to benefit Oyster South. #giveashuck
